The Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne acts as a catalyst to strengthen our community. We mobilize resources and establish research informed priorities to close opportunity gaps for women and girls regardless of place, race and identity. We are driven to create systems-level change to positively affect women and girls throughout our community. Investing in women has a ripple effect, benefiting not just her family, but the greater community. The Women's Fund is an initiative of the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne.
WOMEN IN THE WORKPLACE
This first Allen County Women in the Workplace Report paints a picture of what it’s like to be a woman in our local workforce. The Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne surveyed local employers to understand the landscape of women in leadership, compensation of women, benefits and policies available to women in the workforce, and equitable hiring practices.
NO MATTER WHAT
The Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne has launched the No Matter What Campaign. No Matter What is a campaign to quickly, efficiently, and discreetly connect sexual violence survivors to up-to-date resources they need most. Because no matter what, survivors are worthy of community support.

YOUNG WOMEN & GIRLS RESEARCH
When we completed our Women and Girl’s Study of Greater Fort Wayne in 2020, we learned that girls perform well academically, earn more high school honors diplomas than boys, and are more than twice as likely to have a bachelor’s degree than their mothers and grandmothers.
We still have work to do. We convened three focus groups from the 12-24 age group to center their voices, elevate their experiences, and show the next generation that we’re listening.

Our Research
Our research is our guiding force to action. That’s why we conducted the Women and Girl’s Study of Greater Fort Wayne to identify, collect and create the resources to help women and girls in our community.
